Emily is resting in HK, and without his wife watching, Hacken was free with his words, even teasing a sexily dressed female fan!

At this concert in Malaysia, Hacken has received many flowers and each time he would personally walk off the stage to accept flowers given to him by fans. Even when female fans used flowers as an excuse to get an autograph, he would glady oblige.

Halfway through the concert, he had shart eyes and spotted a female fan wearing a backless dress and joked "Wow, how sexy!" and teased the fan until she was ecstatic. Also, a fan gave him an entire bag of red packets, it really was a night of beauty and riches!


Yelling at security

Hacken overcome all the odds to walk off stage and get closer to the fans. Fans rushed up at him and he yelled out "Leave me some room to walk, alright?". When security and fans all pushed at one another, even mild-tempered him couldn't resist and had to call out "Don't push me!"

But because his path was blocked off by people, he could only stand in the crowd and continue singing. And then braving the crowd, he insistently returned back on stage. Luckily his costume at the time was in the style of a sports tracksuit, preventing any injuries to his body or skin. But after getting back on stage, he was thoroughly drenched in sweat and couldn't stop breathing heavily!


Fatherly love

Almost to be a father, Hacken revealed his loving father image! Ivana Wong and he performed 情比紙薄 (love thinner than paper) and then made fun of the way Ivana spoke, using a gentle voice like talking to kids. It seems that he will make a great father. And then, when fans called out "Hacken daddy", he pretended to not hear properly!


2 encores

In the past, Hacken has held "Left Alan Right Hacken" concerts in Malaysia with Principal Alan Tam but has never had a solo concert. And so, on stage he asked "Yeah, why is it that it's been so long and I haven't been here to hold a concert?". Therefore, this time in Malaysia, he gave his fans both old and new songs alike.

At 10:20pm, the first encore came to a close. But after the audience yelled "encore" for 2 or 3 minutes, Hacken finally emerged and copied Emil Chow, yelling out "Welcome to Hacken Lee's concert!" and made the atmosphere even more high!

And so, when the concert officially ended at 10:55pm, there was still about two thirds of the audience who didn't want to leave. And so at 11pm, Hacken had to step back on stage again and said "This has made me very happy!" and then sang for everyone 誰願分手 (who willingly wants to break up) and 破曉時分, both of which weren't in the original program. Finally this allowed the fans to leave completely satisfied!


Laughing at fans

紅日 (red day) made the entire audience applaud and stampe their feet, the sound erupting through Genting!

Before commencing his singing, Hacken patiently taught everyone how to applaud and stamp their feet. All 6000 people present cooperated together and the lively performance was enough to amaze anyone!

At the same time, Hacken picked out a well-built male fan to join him onstage to dance to 舊歡如夢 (old loves like a dream). But because the fan performed the wrong dance steps and confused the directions he told Hacken "Tonight you're very successful... because you invited me onstage." making Hacken unable to laugh or cry. Being sharp-tongued, he returned " Do you drive a car? You need to be careful, because your sense of direction is not too good!"

Looking up with sore necks

As Hacken was singing on stage, the reporters present were not organised into good seats and so they could not even see a screeen. The reporters had to lift their heads to see and when the concert finished every reporter had a sore neck. The reporters had approached the organiser, but the workers only cooly said "Ok, what is there to complain? Come, come... we're all working for someone, why make things hard for us?"

hacken refutes rumors of fighting

Some reports had suggested that Emily has been very easily provoked due to her pregnancy, and had taken her car for a drive to calm down. Hacken yesterday said: "We're not fighting! The house is currently being renovated so she went out to avoid the renovations, and her temper has not changed!"

As for Edison telling fans on his blog to attack the papparazzi, Hacken said: "Maybe Edison was joking! Anyway, each person has a right to his own thoughts, and each artiste deals with things differently. For example my house is being renovated and media writes that I'm having a fight with Emily - it's best if artistes and papparazi each back away a step. Hacken said that Emily didn't want to be photographed in Macau, so he didn't go to watch his beloved Man U compete.

Hacken finally admits emily's pregnancy

At the press conference release of his new album, My Cup Of tea, Hacken finally admitted wife Emily Lo is pregnant, and said that his new song "Little treasure" is a present to the baby. The lyrics include the line: "Little treasure is soon to be born, i long for hte day you call me dad, i'll teach you how to kick a ball, sing..." expressing the anticipation in becomign a father. Hacken said that he wrote the song in one night as a present.

At his press conference for new album "My Cup Of Tea" , Hacken finally admitted wife Emily Lo's pregnancy, and the song "Little treasure" on teh album was for the baby! The lyrics were written by Hacken as a present, and the lyrics describe how excited he is to be a father.

Yesterday his record company spent $HK150,000 to hold a press conference at cyberport in HK. Hacken agreed to take photos next to a baby pram, and further expressed that "Little treasure" was written two months ago. He was asked if that meant Emily was 4, 5 months pregnant, and when he would be a father? Hacken replied: "Sometimes things don't have to be stated explicitly, the song has already showed my feelings, I don't want to say too much else, but this song wont be a song we use to plug". Reporters asked hwat Emily htought of hte song? Hacken replied the song was more like a children's song, and that Emily had already heard the whole album.

As for the baby's birth, would Hacken be like Lee Ka Shing and Cathy Tsui and give out photos to the media. Hacken said that he wished them well, but he wouldn't give out photos. He said that he had said all he wanted to say, and asked media to seperate business (his album launch) and his private life. He felt very happy at the moment. Yesterday his company also gave him a gold cup to congratulate Hacken, as the pre-orders of his new album had already exceeded $HK20,000!!

Media Conference - Joey leaks news, Hacken's expression darkens

Hacken arrived in Malaysia for his concert promotion and any questions regarding "wife Emily" weren't allowed. His face became expressionless at any mention.

Last week, ex-partner Joey Leung was in Malaysia for Minutes to Fame and at some point had leaked that Hacken was soon to become a father. Reporters asked Hacken about this and he only replied "This isn't the time to talk" and implied that Joey was doing well in Malaysia and shouldn't be spilling anything on Hacken to the press!

"I've heard that Joey has been doing very well in Malaysia, I'm happy for him. I've always told him that it's good to go to different places to do things and I've found that his Chinese is becoming better and better. I wish him luck in progressing further in Malaysia."

When asked if Emily will support him in his Genting concert on July 28, he replied "As for this question, umm... let's just finish the questions about the concert first!" The MC by his side kept helping him to fend off the reporters, saying that this question would need to be answer by the concert manager.

When talking about the concert, Hacken had a lot to say. He said that this would be the first time he's held a concert in Malaysia and to accommodate all the age differences and levels of fans, he has decided that the concert will concentrate on singing. Apart from his own old and new songs, there will be songs that he used to listen to as a student and other classics. There should be over 40 songs.

"The most special part is that I will not speak much. There will be a 20 minute medley. Of course I won't be able to play and sing, but there will be a part for the Concert Hall series songs. There won't be much spectacular dancing, but that you all already know. Normal dancing of course there will be, but nothing like Madonna. As for wearing less and less as I sing, unfortunately I don't have the assets. The most important thing is that I hope this concert will be like a fan gathering, the fans can pick the song and I can sing."

As well, this time he's invited Ivana Wong as a guest performer. He said that before he had performed with her in America/Canada singing Air Supply's songs. This time there will be plans for a new idea. After saying that, Hacken joked about Ivana's soft and light voice even when talking.

He revealed that in his new upcoming album, the songs have a more unplugged feel and that in Genting he would sing some of these new songs. As for movies, if time permits, then he might film but at the moment the most important things are the concert and the new album. Next year in February, he will be holding a solo concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum.

As for when Left Alan Right Hacken will reform? "First, I need to finish all the work I have on my hands, before I know if I can work with Alan. Maybe in 2009 or 2010, though of course this is just what I think for now. I'm sure that Alan would want to do another Left Alan Right Hacken concert as well."

After the press conference, Hacken appeared at the concert promotion and saw his employers (the fans that were present) and his smiled much more for them than he did for the reporters. He was half an hour late, and only spoke for 2 minutes before hurriely signing autographes for the 100 selected fans. Even with his own fan club yelling at him to sing "Never chaning in a lifetiem", Hacken told fans to wait another month, giving off a "big brother" feel.

Hacken being secretly filmed is now helpless

Hacken, Eason and Taichi recorded for JSG the night before last. Hacken, almost to become a father, and Emily have been reported to have celebrated Father's Day with 3 generations.

Hacken said "The pregnancy matter should really be let go." After he explained that his sister's son was there that day and that's why reporters writing that there were 3 generatons were correct. Asked if he will move to a more safer place to avoid the paparazzi, he replied "No matter where I move, I still need to go out. Since I don't like it but there's nothing I can do, then the most important thing is that reports dont exaggerate. If they only write about what they take photos of it's ok. And a lot of those reports are written for the masses, so there's nothing i can do about it. (Jacky Cheung had had a daughter before announcing it publicly. Why don't you go ask him to teach you?) Times are different. Now technology prospers, even mobile phones can take pictures." Hacken admits that he's celebrating Father's Day with 3 generations

Hacken and his family were followed yesterday by our reporters. The 4 month pregnant Emily and Hacken went to yumcha with both sets of parents. It was pointed out that 3 generations were together. Hacken told the reporters to speak outright and not to exaggerate for reports. He wouldn't mind as celebritties live normal lives as well. So then the reporters asked whether or not there were 3 generations present. Hacken replies that there was him and his dad, and his sister and her child so therefore there were 3 generations! When asked whether he considered moving, he felt that he wouldn't move just to avoid the paparazzi. There's no way that Hacken and his family can't go out forever, so he joked that next time he goes out he'd wear a t-shirt with his new album's name printed on it and his car would have album posters stuck all over it and help promote the album. In the past, Jacky Cheung managed to successfuly avoid all paparazzi and only announced his daughter's birth after she was born. When reporters told Hacken that he should ask Jacky for some tips, Hacken replied that Jacky was a long time ago! These days everyone's mobile has a camera function, it's dificult to hide. Hacken accidentally let slip that his wife might be pregnant

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of HK returning to China, RTHK and CCTV have decided to organise a "Shenzhen-HK youth evening gathering" on 1st July at Shenzhen's Window of the World. Yesterday a media conference was held and public announcements were made regarding the event's activities. RTHK's Lee Chai Tong indicated at the event, all HK singers that took part in performing "After returning for 10 years, there's still You" themesong will all attend the party. At the time, Andy Lau and Yundi Lee will perform together. And there will be lot's of mainland performances. The venue can hold an audience up to 6000-7000 people.

Date of birth is predicted to be June/July

Alan Tam and Hacken Lee both attended the media conference. Hacken was once again chased about whether or not he can announce his wife's pregnancy, and he joked that the date of birth is predicted to be June/July. He is adament that he is talking about his new album, not having a baby. Alan says that it was only a few days ago that he ate dinner with the husband and wife and was asked whether he felt Emily's figure had changed. Alan said that he was late there and had to leave early so that Emily was seated the entire time and he couldn't tell.

Alan had publicly told Hacken to check whether his wife was pregnant by using frogs. When the two met, Hacken asked Alan how to use frogs to test for pregnancy and pointed out that he only knew how to use iceblocks. Alan explained "In the past, when using frogs, if the frog called out then that was the indication that there was a pregnancy." Reporters asked Hacken if he could announce the good news. He said that as it was the return of HK's big day, then everyone shouldn't go off topic. When reporters suggested that because it was a big day then there should be a new album to celebrate with, Hacken exclaimed that the date of birth was to be June/July and insisted that he was referring to his new album. Reporters also pointed out that Hacken has gained weight recently but Hacken said that he was busy with his new album and did not gain weight. Alan couldn't help but laugh that Hacken wasn't answering the questions that were being asked.

Alan exposes Hacken's Freudian slip

Hacken admitted that he understood everyone was caring for him and everyday he would see little dogs near his place, giving him a sense of security. When it reached the public, Hacken revealed that a lot of people were asking about the progress of his new album and even Liza Wang has asked a few times whether his new album would be out soon. Alan joked and asked Hacken whether the new album will be cute and if it would have hands or feet. Hacken said that as long as Liza was happy, he would thank everyone for caring and when the new album was ready for release, he would publicly announce it to the world. He doesn't think he will make June, so it will probably hit the streets in July. Recently has his wife been afraid of going outside? Hacken said she wasn't. Alan revealed that a few days earlier he had dinner with the couple and when asked about Emily's figure, he was smart and said that on the night he was late there and had to leave early. This meant that he only saw Emily sitting down and could not see her figure. Has he felt that Emily's eating habits have changed? He said he didn't notice anything special and Hacken added "These days it's different. There's nothing that's "forbidden". Alan exposed that Hacken had made a definate Freudian slip.

Cecilia Wong happily reveals that Emily is pregnant

Nat Chan's Olympics show was recording the night before last and guests included Shawn Yue, Monica Chan, Stephanie Cheng, Hins Cheung, Ivana Wong and Lawrence Cheng. Shawn Yue has alwys played basketball and he was full of confidence at the beginning of the show, and winning prizes by shooting baskets would be no hard task. All the other guests were relying on him to win and he failed 3 times. The first 2 times he only managed to get 1 basket out of 5 shots and so missed out on the prize. Nat Chan decided to loosen up the rules a bit and for Shawn's third and final chance, he was allowed to take a few steps forward. In the end he managed to get 3 baskets out of 5 shots, winning him and the other guests $5000 in prize money. No one left empty handed.

That night, Nat's other half Cecilia Wong was also watching the show. As for her birthday party earlier, it was said that Hacken and Emily were resting due to Emily's pregnancy and both declined the invitation. Reporters asked Cecilia for evidence and initially she replied "You go ask them!" but after more interrogation, she said "Of course I'm happy! (Do you know when the baby is due?) That I don't know! We haven't seen each other recently but we have talked over the phone. Her health is good. (Will you become the child's godmother?) No! I already have enough! (Have you prepared the baby's present yet?) When they got married I already gave them a big present! We should wait until they announce it themselves!"

On another note, Monica Chan reveals that she has been very unhappy recently. Of her 4 beloved dogs, two have passed away within a week of each other causing her to be very upset. It has also made her treasure the time she spends with her family. And so hearing that her father wanted to go to Jiu Zhai Gou for holidays, she planned to go with her whole family on vacation.

Hacken has fun in answering rumours of his wife being pregnant

There have been rumours recently of Emily Lo being pregnant. When approached the other night (JSG awards), Hacken neither denied nor confirmed the rumours. Instead he told reporters to ask him next time. This makes one feel that the news has not been publicised as the baby is not yet 3 months and give more credibility to the reports.

The night before last, Hacken attended the first rounds of the 2007 JSG awards ceremony. The MC seized the chance to ask Hacken about the good news. Hacken didn't answer directly and instead started to promote his new album but joking that making an album was like making a little baby. The due date is around June or July. After Hacken went backstage, reporters once again asked him and he did not deny it outright. Instead he continued to joke about the day of birth being around June or July, and that the producers of his album were the doctor and anaesthetist. He said "People say that making an album is like giving birth. (Are you denying it?) I'll check later. I'll go to 7-11 and buy an iceblock (pregnancy test kit) and check. I've been busy recently so haven't had time to check." When asked if Hacken was worried that the baby was not yet 3 months and that was why he wasn't denying or confirming, Hacken sighed and said that the reporters couldn't write so much in one go and to ask him next time. And this gives the rumours more credibility.

Hacken's frieds are all encouraging him and he indicates that he is trying his best. He even passed the ball to Alan Tam saying that if there was good news then he would be the first one told. Hacken went on to say "Ask Alan. He's like half my dad and loves answering things for people. He's also great at it like as if he was acting a part, if I let him announce it then it would all be very happy." When it was pointed out that Hacken was taking half a year off to be with his wife, he answered that no matter when, work that has been organised must be done. He laughed that with his life, he couldn't take a holiday, and the recording and release date of the album was set a lont time ago. In other news, Kay Tse who was pregnant did not perform that night. She thanked everyone for being understanding and as she was almost approaching 8 months, she has been attending pregnancy classes and planning for the baby.

2007 JSG awards (first round)

The 2007 first round JSG awards were held in the Tseung Kwun Ou studio. Apart from the "top ten song" awards there was also a "most popular Chinese song" award. George Lam and Teresa Carpio are soon to be holding concerts, and they were invited as guest performers. The night's winners included Hacken Lee's "Prince Princess", Twins' "Loving for 6 Years", Kenny B's "Everyday is a Good Day", Stephy Tang's "Lightbulb", Alex Fong's "Big Little Heart", Ivana Wong's "Picture Meaning", Grasshoppers' "forever", AT17's "Same Soung Same Air", Kay Tse's "New Problems Arising", Eason Chan's "Under Mount Fuji", Denise Ho's and Juno's "The 3rd Person (love triangle)", and Stefanie Sun's "What I Miss" took home the most popular Chinese song award. Earlier there were reports that Hacken's wife was pregnant and that he was taking half a year off work to be with his wife. When asked if he was expecting a baby soon he joked that the baby would be born in June or July. Of course he was calling his new album his baby, as making an album was comparable to giving birth. The pregnant Kay Tse attended to accept her award, but did not perform. Kay was very happy about being a mum soon. And because after her album, she has been promoting a lot less due to the baby, she thanked everyone for their support in giving her the award.

Hacken denies wife is pregnant and continues to work

There's recently been reports after Hacken Lee and Emily Lo tied the knot after a 15year relationship, his wife is now pregnant. This has made Hacken extremely nervous and he has decided to stop work for half a year to be with his wife. But yesterday, Hacken's assistant claimed that there was no such thing. So is Hacken worried about his baby not being 3 months yet and is concealing the news? Or is it just something the media concocted? Now we can only wait until Emily reveals herself before we can have an answer.

Yesterday the reports said that the newly married couple haven't yet told anyone but recently they have been successful (in getting pregnant). Reports go on to say that Emily was preparing well before the wedding. A year before marrying Hacken, she found a Chinese herbalist to make sure her body was in good health. And Hacken being excited about his wife getting pregnant has taken half a year off work to be with her.

Reports also indicated that Hacken was willing to give up several hundred thousand dollars of opportunities and decided to stop work for half a year. And even the album that was scheduled for October this year has been brought forward to be released in June. Even though he was invited to host "Minutes to Fame", because he needed more time for recording, he declined the job. Emily being pregnant could be possible as she usually accompanies Hacken when he goes to recording. These last two weeks, apart from work Hacken has always been at home with his wife. Last Saturday, Hacken went to the recording studio in Jordan and Emily was nowhere to be seen. This makes one wonder if Emily is trying to avoid the media.

To work out whether there was any truth to these reports, SingTao decided to call Hacken's assistant. The assistant said "Emily is not pregnant. The media is making up rubbish. Hacken is concentrating on recording his new album. (Reports say that because his wife is pregnant, Hacken has brought the release date forward to June?) Hacken is not stopping work, at the moment he is recording. And the album was meant to be scheduled for release in June in the first place. (Did Hacken decline job offeres?) This week's Next Weekly published a front page cover screaming that Emily was pregnant. I'm not bothering translating the entire article as most of it is justifying why she's pregnant...(with the proof being that lui fong's concert, emily had her hand hovering near her stomach in one photo, and hacken was watching that she didn't hurt herself when they were going into the concert).

Seems the media is pretty crazy...

ent.tom reports: Hacken's assistant has denied these reports. "Emily is not pregnant, this news is crazy. Hacken is concentrating on his album." (But the gossip says Hacken has requested 6 months leave from the company for the baby?) "There's no such thing, he's currently recording, and the company will release his album in June" (So has Hacken rejected all other work?) "No! Hacken recently went to China to film ads. He hasn't appeared lately beacuse he's busy working, the entire magazine article is a joke"

So, word from the official camp is another fabricated story to make hacken fans buy the magazine. =)

Hacken works the atmosphere for Lui Fong's concert

Hacken Lee was special guest at Lui Fong's concert, and sang his song "Flower Protector" with Lui Fong. Hacken said that Lui Fong was a great singer, and couldn't understand why he waited so long to hold his own concert! Lui Fong replied: "don't mention it"! Hacken also said that Lui Fong performed very well that night, the only mistake through the whole concert was when he was staring at girlfriend Dodo Cheng and sang three lines of lyrics wrong! He said that the entire concert was very good, and was very happy for Lui Fong.

After being praised by Hacken for a while, Lui Fong said that it was him who should be happy for Hacken, as Hacken had married long time girlfriend Emily last year, whilst Lui Fong was still alone. Hacken laughed and replied that marriage was a happy affair, but the happiness only lasted a few months - at New Year, he had to give out lucky packets to so many more people, hurting his wallet! Hacken told Lui Fong he should either not marry or secretly marry, so he didn't have to tell anyone, and could avoid giving out lucky packets til the day he was 80. Hacken also joked that if Lui Fong were to have children, he should definately announce it, as with the child he could go out and receive lucky packets, making him very rich! Lui Fong replied that if he had time he should probably have a child - maybe he would be like Hacken's friend (Alan Tam), and have a child with someone else. Hacken immediately changed the topic, asking Lui Fong if their other halves would be talking about children in the audience.

Lui Fong Concert

Lui Fong's concert "Lui Fong's Love Songs 2007" has 4 shows and opened yesterday, with girlfriend Dodo Cheng arriving early to support him. The special guest for last night's concert was Hacken Lee, who, along with wife Emily Lo, sat in the audience before going onstage in the middle of the concert. Lui Fong's appearance was "The Prince on the White Horse"-like, singing many love songs. Before Hacken performed, he and Emily watched in the audience, sitting next to Dodo Cheng. Lui Fong commented on stage that it's taken him 18 years to hold his own concert, laughing that a fortune teller told him that this would be the good year to hold his concert, and that's why he waited so long. He said he was lucky his fans waited with him for this year. When his fans from the audience shouted "Dodo Cheng", Lui Fong laughed and asked if they had gone to the wrong place - this was HIS concert - to which he received a round of applause from delighted fans!

Hacken Lee tells about Emme Wong getting Shawn Yue Drunk

In the Chinese New Year, Hacken will be performing on stage in Las Vegas. Other performing artists include Dao Lang and Rene Lau. Hacken's wife Emily will also be there.

Hacken admits he's very traditional and likes to spend New Years in Hong Kong. He recalls "One year, I invited all my colleagues back to my new house for dinner. And then Shawn got really drunk and threw up all over the floor!" When asked if anyone kept getting Shawn to drink, Hacken responded with "Emme did it!".

This year is the first year that Hacken is married and will have to hand out red packets. When asked how much he managed to receive, Hackne said that it was more or less the same as last year. Hacken falls ill on night of MCI 2007

At last night's Miss Chinese International finals, guest performer Hacken Lee appeared suffering from a heavy flu. As he was sick, his singing capabilities were reduced to 60%, and of the three songs he was to sing, he could only do two live, having to lip sync the difficult-to-sing "Princess Prince". He expressed his regret over this.

Sick because of filming

Hacken stated: "Last night when I arrived at Qingyuan I had lost my voice totally as well, and before that I had rung the producer to say that if I did not recover my voice, my songs would be cut in half. (Were you worried about your performance standard?) Of course! So I saw the doctor as well as a qigong doctor, and brought chinese medicines to drink, but with the flu the most important thing is to rest. I will be returning to HK straight after this show."Hacken believes that he is very sick because of the hard work involved in his latest movie, <>.

When talking about this year's MCI contest, Hacken says that he has met them all before and hopes that HK representative Aimee Chan will make it into the top three to win some acclaim for HK, but beacuse the contest is not being held in HK, this makes it more difficult. As his wife Emily Lo was the runner-up in the 1993 contest, Hacken was asked if he had talked about this year's contest with her. He replied that nowadays the contest is very different, it used to be very strict and followed protocol, but lately the contests have thrown in a lot of "gimmicks". He also said that when Emily participated, she had the advantage of the contest being held in HK.
